Support the Mission Behind the Music
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit record label supporting military veterans through music, mentorship, artist development, recording, and community.
Our Mission
Elevating veteran voices through music.
Our mission is to support military veterans in their pursuit of music as both a professional path and a means of personal growth. Through artist development, recording, and mentorship, we elevate veteran voices while cultivating an engaged audience that values their stories.
About Label 22
Traditional labels are built around performance and profit. Artists are developed, but they are often treated like products in a system driven by bottom lines.
For military veterans, that model can leave little room for the complexity of their experiences or the support they need to navigate the industry.
Label 22 operates like a professional label — producing high-quality music and developing artists with real career potential — but our purpose is different. We invest in veterans as people first.
From the Director
We are the launchpad, not the landing pad.
Label 22 is building a nonprofit record label model designed to give veteran artists quality music, meaningful opportunities, stronger industry relationships, and an audience that can grow with them.
Our goal is not to keep artists dependent on the label. Our goal is to help them move forward.
Michael Hamilton, Ed.D.
Interim Director
